Refund Policy

Our work is scheduled and personalised, so we hold time specifically for you.

Deposits are non-refundable. They reserve your place in our schedule.

Once work has begun, payments are non-refundable. This includes editing, design, publishing services, mentorship, and publicity.

Cancelling before work starts. Tell us at least ten days before your start date and we’ll refund everything except your deposit. After that, the full fee stands.

What we guarantee is the work, not the outcome. Editing, design, and publicity are professional services, and results depend on factors outside anyone’s control (such as the market, agents, editors, reviewers, and readers). We guarantee the time, care, and expertise we put in. We can’t guarantee sales, representation, coverage, or any particular response to your book.

Revisions. For package(s) that include a set number of concepts and revision rounds, additional rounds are available for a small fee. Using the included revisions isn’t grounds for a refund.

Timelines depend on both of us. We’ll meet our deadlines when you meet yours. If materials, approvals, or feedback come back late, your dates move accordingly, and that doesn’t change the fee.

Payment plans run for the agreed term whether or not you use every session. Unused sessions can usually be rescheduled but aren’t refundable.

If we stop work on your project for reasons of our own, we’ll refund the portion you’ve paid for that we haven’t completed.
